FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is MIRHA a law firm?
No. MIRHA offers administrative support. Legal advice is given only by independent lawyers registered with the bar.
I have a deadline or received a court document: what do I do?
Many legal time limits are short. Note the date you received it and ask for an appointment as soon as possible; if the deadline is imminent, contact a lawyer directly.
Is there help for people on a low income?
In some cases the law provides state-funded legal aid (patrocinio a spese dello Stato). Requirements and limits are set by law: the lawyer will tell you whether you can apply.
How much does a consultation cost?
The fee is set by the lawyer and communicated to you before the consultation, with no obligation.
